Short Bio

Mr. Ferdinand Nsanzumuremyi is a seasoned civil aviation expert. He is a graduate of Teacher Training School and certified as an Air Traffic Controller with Aerodrome, Approach, Radar, and Instructor Ratings. His extensive qualifications include holding an FAA Pilot License, serving as a cabin crew inspector, and possessing deep expertise in Air Operations, Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO), Airspace Design, and Aviation Management, bolstered by an MBA degree. Among his key achievements, he developed the concept paper and program for the Aviation Faculty at Mogadishu University, which is now successfully running with 500 students. He also authored a concept paper for a Global Air Medical Evacuation system within the UN, and a concept paper on aging aircraft and its impact on safety and security for the UN system. Mr. Ferdinand is a recipient of the Somali Civil Aviation Authority Award for my contribution for the support of its rehabilitation program. He authored a seminal paper on the aging aircraft impact on safety and security.
